National Skills Conference
Tribal Learning and Publishing – Summer Conference 12 May 2008
The Learning and Publishing summer conference is being held at the Marriott Hotel, York on the 17 and 18 June 2008.
The conference is endorsed by the Learning & Skills Council (LSC) and will include contributions from senior LSC staff at both local and national levels.
The conference's theme is ‘Meeting the Skills Agenda’ and delegates will have an opportunity to hear about changes to funding policy, qualification reform, new opportunities to work with the Third Sector and much more. There will also be a number of topical workshops all focused around the key challenges facing the sector today.
As usual there will be a social event on the evening of 17 June which will provide opportunities for networking with colleagues.
The cost for attending the two-day event is £120 plus VAT or £75 plus VAT for attending one day. Accommodation (with breakfast) is also available at the Marriot Hotel, York for £120, plus VAT, per night. Please note this is a ‘not for profit’ event.
